What we need

Pulso Europe BV located in Kessel-Lo, Belgium is a Processor of the personal data you (data subject) and your employer or potential employer (the Client), who is the Controller, provide us.
We process your personal data on behalf of the Client.

Pulso Europe BV may collect the following types of personal data from you to provide our services:

  • For administrator licenses: firstname and lastname, language, e-mail address and password
  • For respondents:
    • Personal Data: firstname and lastname, birth date, department, language, e-mail address, telephone number, and optionally the street address, zipcode and city
    • Information concerning behavior, intentions, feelings and beliefs in terms of safety.

Your (potential) employer (the Client) is responsible for establishing the lawful basis for the processing of your personal information, which is the legitimate interest or consent.

Why we need it

We need your personal data in order to provide you with the following services:

  • Providing access to the Safety Attitude Screening management panel to administrators
  • Providing access to and conducting the surveys of the Safety Attitude Screening to respondents
  • To identify risk profiles and safe profiles to enable the (potential) employer (Client) to screen (future) employees
  • Identifying users to provide support and assistance

What we do with it

Your answers to the questions in the surveys of the Safety Attitude Screening are used to assess the risk profile and safe profile of respondents. The Client may use this information in an automated decision-making process. As a respondent you can contact the Client, who is your (potential) employer, for further information.
Hosting and storage of your data takes place in the datacenters of:

  • Combell NV located in Zaventem, Belgium
  • Antwerp Data Center BVBA located in Antwerp, Belgium
  • Amazon Web Services, Inc. located in Frankfurt, Germany
  • LNS CVBA located in Lommel, Belgium

No other third parties have access to your data, unless specifically required by law.

How long we keep it

Your personal information may be stored for a certain amount of time defined by the Client based on the purpose and lawful basis of the processing. The Client is responsible for removing your information when it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected for. Your information may be stored up until 30 days after termination of the Pricinpal Agreement between Pulso Europe BV and the Client. After this period, your personal data will be irreversibly destroyed.

What are your rights?

Should you believe that any personal data we hold on you is incorrect or incomplete, you have the ability to request to see this information, rectify it or have it deleted depending on the lawful basis of the processing. If the legal basis for the processing relies on consent you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You have the right to obtain from the Client restriction of processing, as well as the right to object to the processing of your personal data and automated individual decision-making and profiling. As the data subject you can exercise your rights through the Data Subject Access Request Form located at https://pulso-europe.eu/policies/data-subject-access-request-form

In the event that you wish to file a complaint about how we have handled your personal data, please contact our Data Protection Officer or the person responsible for security and privacy of your (potential) employer at the contact details listed below. Our Data Protection Officer will then look into your complaint and work with you to resolve the matter.

If you still feel that your personal data has not been handled appropriately according to the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
